Addressing the Environmental Impact of Animal Agriculture

Addressing the Environmental Impact of Animal Agriculture

Russia has around 15,000 industrial livestock farms, which have a significant impact on the environment, animals, and human health and quality of life.

We work to reduce the negative environmental effects of animal agriculture, including tackling industry waste. One key solution is to slow down the production and consumption of animal-based products in favor of plant-based alternatives. This, in turn, decreases the number of animal victims and improves public health.

What We Do

  • Researching the environmental, economic, and health aspects of animal agriculture
  • Developing and advocating for solutions at the government level to address industry-related problems
  • Raising public awareness and building support for our initiatives through media and participation in specialized events
  • Initiating investigations into environmental violations at livestock farms
  • Collecting and analyzing information
  • Filing complaints with regulatory authorities
  • Providing informational and legal support to citizens affected by farm-related environmental issues
