We work to secure legal protection for farmed animals to alleviate the suffering of millions of cows, pigs, chickens, sheep, and other sentient beings subjected to cruelty throughout their lives.

What we do:

  • Develop and advocate for legislative proposals
  • Educate the public and build support for our initiatives
  • Identify cases of animal cruelty and push for investigations
  • Conduct research on various aspects of animal farming

Our achievements
  • Improved rabbit housing regulations, benefiting the welfare of 7 million beings annually
  • Brought the issue of the lack of legal protection for farmed animals to the national level
  • Collected 70,000+ signatures under a petition in support of a farmed animal protection law in Russia

Exposing Farm Cruelty

We make the suffering of farmed animals visible to change public perception and gain support for our initiatives.

What we do:

  • Gather video footage from Russian animal farming facilities
  • Produce investigative films and promote them through social media and news outlets

Promoting Ethical and Sustainable Eating

We make plant-based meals accessible in Russian educational institutions and at public events to reduce the demand for animal products, thereby decreasing the number of animals used in agriculture and lowering the environmental footprint.

What we do:

  • Develop delicious and nutritious plant-based menus
  • Introduce them in university cafeterias and at youth and environmental events
  • Organize lectures, workshops, and tastings to raise awareness

Our achievements
  • Provided 18,000 students in 4 universities with plant-based meal options
  • Implemented plant-based catering at 7 national and international events, as well as numerous other gatherings

We foster ethical and responsible attitudes toward all living beings and the environment in children through school education programs.

What we do:

  • Develop and implement educational modules
  • Train teachers in our teaching methodology and create a professional community for knowledge-sharing
  • Study the impact of our programs on preventing cruelty and fostering ethical values and environmental responsibility in children

Our achievements
  • Developed and piloted educational modules for 3rd–4th and 5th–6th graders, reaching over 2,000 children across Russia
  • Engaged 200+ teachers, who conducted over 230 lessons
  • Passed a state review of our educational programs and ranked among the Top 10 educational projects of 2024

Building the Animal Rights Movement

We bring together activists, experts, NGOs, and policymakers to exchange knowledge, develop solutions, and inspire progress for animals.

What we do:

  • Host the Russian Animal Rights Conference with international participation
  • Cover key topics on human-animal relations
  • Organize lectures and workshops to enhance participants’ expertise

Our achievements
  • Hosted 3 conferences, bringing together 450 animal advocates and presenting resolutions to government officials.

Advancing Animal Ethics in Academia

We foster discussions on the moral status of animals within the academic community in Russia to elevate the status of animal rights and promote a more ethical society.

What we do:

  • Organize the “Animal Ethics” section at the annual international philosophy conference at St. Petersburg State University
  • Involve students, professors, and specialists from various fields, including philosophy, law, sociology, veterinary science, biology, and education

Raising Awareness Through Modern Technologies

We use virtual reality to reveal the hidden lives of farmed animals, helping people empathize with their suffering and rethink their choices.

What we do:

  • Present VR films at festivals, conferences, and forums
  • Conduct surveys, collect data, and analyze impact

Our achievements
  • 6,000 people experienced life through the eyes of farmed animals, with 45% reducing or eliminating their consumption of animal products

Addressing Environmental Issues in Animal Agriculture

We work to resolve environmental problems caused by animal farming, which contributes to climate change, depletes natural resources, and leads to biodiversity loss. We advocate for the transition to more ethical and sustainable production systems.

What we do:

  • Analyze the environmental, economic, and public health impact of animal agriculture
  • Expose and publicize environmental law violations by livestock enterprises
  • Raise public awareness of the issue
