Chickens, pigs, cows, and other beings are treated as mere resources: confined in small cages and pens, castrated without pain relief, and slaughtered at a young age.
Most Russians oppose cruelty to animals, yet few are aware of what happens in animal farming — the suffering is hidden behind farm walls.
By focusing our efforts on this issue, we can have the greatest impact on animal welfare in our country.
